1. Stork Sells Its Subsea Division to N-Sea Group

Stork Technical Services, the global provider of knowledge based asset integrity services to the oil & gas, power and chemical industries, announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Subsea division to N-Sea Group.

2. Petrobras to Hire Newbuild PLSV ‘Polar Onyx’ in Brazil

The SX121 designed construction vessel ‘Polar Onyx’, currently under construction at Ulstein Verft, will commence work for Petrobras in Brazil from May 2014. Ceona and Odebrecht Oil & Gas (OOG) will be operating in partnership to deliver subsea construction services to Petrobras utilising Ceona’s new construction vessel as a pipelay support vessel (PLSV).

3. First Saturation Diving Experiment in China Begins

China began its first saturation diving experiment near the shore of Shenzhen yesterday.

4. DeepOcean to Inspect Nord Stream Pipelines in Baltic Sea

DeepOcean AS, subsidiary of DeepOcean Group Holding BV, announces that company has been awarded the contract for inspection of the Nord Stream gas export pipelines in the Baltic Sea by Nord Stream AG.

5. VARD to Design and Construct Diving Support Vessel for Harkand

Vard Holdings Limited announced that it has secured a contract with a new customer, Harkand Group, for the design and construction of one Diving Support and Construction Vessel.
