1. DCN Divers Rescue Survivor from Jascon 4 (Nigeria)

On Sunday 26 May, the tugboat Jascon 4 ran into difficulties whilst engaged in static towing operations, capsized and sank with a crew of 12 on board.

2. Ulstein to Build Its Largest Ever Offshore Construction Vessel

Edison Chouest Offshore and Island Offshore are ordering two new OCV vessels through the company Island Ventures II LLC. One vessel will be built at Ulstein Verft, Norway, one in USA.

3. DOF Subsea Announces Angola Country Manager

DOF Subsea, a leading provider of subsea services to the oil and gas industry, has appointed Colin Ferguson as country manager for Angola.

4. Two Cargo Vessels Sank Offshore China

In two separate incidents off the coast of East China two cargo vessels sank, and 26 seafarers were reported missing.
