Tsuneishi Delivers Bulker Newbuilding to ”K” Line

Japanese shipbuilder Tsuneishi Shipbuilding delivered the 81,600 dwt bulk carrier Camellia Bliss to compatriot shipping company ”K” Line in a ceremony held  at Tsuneishi Factory on August 5.

This is Tsuneishi’s 215th completed Kamsarmax.

The company pioneered the construction of these 80,000 to 82,000 dwt bulkers in 2004 by modifying its design of 70,00 dwt Panamax vessels.

The 229-meter Kamsarmaxes were named after the Port of Kamsar in Guinea, which has that vessel length restriction.

Camellia Bliss is 32.3 meters wide and has a draft of 20 meters.

It is capable of sailing to the speeds of up to 14.5 knots.
