Besiktas Shipyard Delivers Sixth “Armada” Tanker

The sixth tanker of RST22M Project named Bakhtiar Vahabzade, built by the Besiktas Shipyard for Palmali Group, was delivered to the owner on 15 March 2013. In total ten vessels of Project RST22M were ordered by Palmali Group from Besiktas Shipyard. The Shipyard plans to perform all orders by the end of 2013.

The Project RST22M product tankers, designed by Marine Engineering Bureau, are successors of Project 005RST01, or “Armada” first series.

Breadth – 16.6 m,

Depth – 6,0 m.

Endurance – 20/10 days (in sea/river)

Range – 4000 nautical miles

Speed – 10.5 knots

The vessel of 7.100 DWT meets the Volga-Don Canal and the Volga-Baltic dimension requirements.
