U.S. offshore rig count goes up to 19 units

The number of U.S. offshore rigs went up by one unit last week, according to a report by Baker Hughes, a GE company.

U.S. Rig Count is 1,048, unchanged from last week, with oil rigs down 2 to 860, gas rigs up 2 to 186, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 2.

U.S. Rig Count is up 104 rigs from last year’s count of 944, with oil rigs up 104, gas rigs down 1, and miscellaneous rigs up 1.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 1 rig from last week to 19 and up 3 rigs year-over-year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada -24 to 204 rigs 

Canada Rig Count is down 24 rigs from last week to 204, with oil rigs down 18 to 133 and gas rigs down 6 to 71.

Canada Rig Count is up 2 rigs from last year’s count of 202, with oil rigs up 31 and gas rigs down 29.
