UASC Introduces Direct Service from ISC, Arabian Gulf and Red Sea to Turkey

 

United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) will commence as of November 1st, 2012 a direct service – GEM1 – from the Indian Subcontinent, Arabian Gulf and Red Sea to Turkey.

The GEM1 service will also provide an extensive coverage of other East Mediterranean and North African ports through relay services over Port Said, in addition to access to a number of Black Sea ports through relay services over Istanbul.

The GEM1 Service will deploy a total of 8 x 4,250 TEU vessels on the following rotation:

Khor Fakkan, Sohar, Port Sultan Qaboos, Karachi, Hazira, Mundra, Khor Fakkan, Jebel Ali, Bahrain, Jubail, Khor Fakkan, Jeddah, Yanbu, Port Said, Mersin, Istanbul, Izmir, Port Said, Yanbu, Jeddah, Khor Fakkan

The GEM1 service will offer UASC customers competitive transit times in both directions from Indian Subcontinent, Arabian Gulf, Red Sea to a large number of ports in East Mediterranean, North Africa and Black Sea.
