Our new training licences will ensure that officers trained at Warsash are ready to serve on the many ships that are using Admiralty Digital Publications.”
Pete Hatton, Admiralty Digital Publications Product Manager, United Kingdom Hydrographic Office, says, “Training is one of the largest challenges facing the industry, as the first deadline for the mandatory carriage of ECDIS comes into force in July 2012. “The advanced functionality of applications like Admiralty TotalTide, the world’s most comprehensive tidal prediction service, and Admiralty Digital Lights List, which provides automatic updating, has established Admiralty Digital Publications as firm favourites with mariners. Admiralty Digital Publications are simple to install and come with an easy to follow user guide – with round-the-clock support and advice available from our customer services team. We are delighted to work closely with Warsash to help prepare and train the next generation of mariners for their careers at sea.”
