UK: Seawork 2012 Kicks Off Today

Seawork 2012 opens today, celebrating its 15th year, the show is now truly international with exhibitors from all over the world taking advantage of the special benefits it offers.

Countries represented at this year’s event include: Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the United States of America. Seawork is a one-stop-shop for the commercial marine industry, saving you time and money.

Andrew Webster, MD of Seawork organisers Mercator Media, commented today: “Looking at the exhibition today, it’s striking to see how it has grown from the first event in 1998, where we had just 24 vessels and a couple of hundred exhibitors. Without a doubt, the emergence of the offshore renewable energy industry world-wide has contributed to its growth but the commercial marine industry as a whole has proved resilient to the global economic situation. Visitors to this year’s exhibition can see a whole host of new products from every aspect of the world of working boats. Enjoy your Seawork experience. There’s nothing like it.”
