USA: Nylacast Emerges from Subsea Tieback 2012

Nylacast has dived deep and exhibited at Subsea Tieback 2012 held from the 6th to the 8th of March in Galveston, Texas.

Nylacasts dedicated Offshore, Oil & Gas technical engineers; Flavio Olivarez and Howard Bradfield, were on hand at the event to provide advice and technical information directly to the industry and demonstrate the value which Nylacast can create and add to a number of applications and projects.

Nylacast were showcasing a number of components ranging from bespoke components, to ROV components and pipe spacers to thruster nozzles and sheaves. Furthermore Howard and Flavio were on hand to explain the three core elements of Nylacasts engineering polymer solutions and how the level of industry experience and know how established by Nylacast over four decades has been built on three highly regarded key elements; Quality, Service and Innovation.

When it comes to Quality Nylacast are able to provide full traceability right down from the chemistry to the finished components. As well as full material characterization and testing, in addition to working in accreditation to the high quality standards of ISO 9001:2008, ISO/TS 16949:2009 and ISO 29001:2010 Oil & Gas as well as being FPAL registered.

Service is also one of the backbones of Nylacast, with dedicated engineering teams and project management, strategic worldwide locations and the latest state of the art manufacturing facilities coupled with the ability to offer CAD/CAM and Finite Element Analysis, Nylacast are able to provide a full service and engineering polymer solution to its clients and partners.

Innovation is key to moving projects forward within the industry, with in-house R&D and testing facilities alongside the ability to create innovative solutions from design and analysis of the concept through to the finished component, Nylacast engineers and chemists are also able to custom formulate and create materials for specific requirements and needs for applications.
