Vroon Names VOS Vigilant, Latest Addition to Its Fleet

Vroon, on February 24th 2012, held the namegiving ceremony for VOS Vigilant in Aberdeen, UK. The vessel was christened by Mrs Annthea Hardie, wife of Mr Mark Hardie, BP Logistics and Infrastructure Manager. VOS Vigilant, a field-support vessel, is the penultimate in a series constructed for Vroon at the Astilleros Zamakona Shipyard, Pasaia.

The vessel is part of Vroon’s extensive fleet of modern vessels providing a range of emergency response and cargo support to the offshore industry. She is operated by Vroon Offshore Services Ltd. in Aberdeen and is currently on a long-term time charter to BP.
