Wave Energy Scotland (WES) will hold its inaugural annual conference beginning of December in Edinburgh, UK.

The one-day conference is designed to inform delegates about the progress of the WES program, who will get a chance to meet organizations currently involved in the WES program, and learn about the progress being made in the power take-off (PTO) and novel wave energy converter (NWEC) projects.

Also, the attendees will hear about future WES calls including the one focused on control systems, WES informed.

The conference will take place at South Hall Complex, Pollock Halls of Residence, Edinburgh on December 2, 2016.

Wave Energy Scotland was established in 2014 as a subsidiary of Highlands and Islands Enterprise to drive the development of a commercial market for wave energy technologies. It is fully funded by the Scottish government.
