‘Westsea Victoria’ PSV delivered to Pacific Radiance

Focal Marine & Offshore, a Singapore-based designer of offshore support vessels, has informed that Westsea Victoria platform supply vessel has been delivered to Pacific Radiance.

Westsea Victoria, a FOCAL 528 design diesel electric PSV with 5,000t deadweight, will work in Australia. When asked if the vessel is already hired by an oil company, Focal Marine & Offshore spokesperson said the vessel is in the Australian spot market “waiting for some tender result.”

The FOCAL 528 PSV is with LOA of 86m, 1,000 m2 deck cargo area, complement of 90 men and carriage of multi cargoes including fuel oil, base oil, fresh water, mud / brine, dry bulks and methanol / chemical, as well as FIFI-1 capability. In addition, the vessel has subsea features and is prepared for installation of helideck, subsea AHC crane and moonpool. The vessel was built at the Huangpu Shipyard in China.

Also, three more platform supply vessels of the same design are under construction. The second vessel, also being built for Pacific Radiance in Huangpu Shipyard is scheduled for delivery in late 2014.

The third and fourth vessel are for another client with deliveries slated for the second half of 2015.
