UPDATE: Morehead City Back to Business

The Coast Guard Captain of the Port (COTP) North Carolina has re-opened the Port of Morehead City and has set Port Condition Seasonal Alert for all waters in the Sector North Carolina Captain of the Port Zone.

Aids to navigation throughout the Sector North Carolina area of responsibility may be off station, extinguished, missing or not marking best water due to the effects of Hurricane Arthur.

Additionally, there may be debris in the water. All mariners are advised to transit with extreme caution.
