‘Winds of Change in Shipping’ by NAMEPA to be Held in Houston, USA

North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA),  an independent, marine industry-led association, has invited  industry leaders, colleagues and regulators to explore the “Winds of Change in Shipping” in Houston on February 19th at the Houstonian Hotel.

The event  will address topics such as: changes in regulations, the impact of LNG on shipping, the changing face of ship finance, education and training excellence, and shipowners’ response to change, all in order to make 2014 more safe, productive and profitable.

The conference will be opened by Paul “Chip” Jaenichen, Acting Maritime Administrator.

Following the conference, a premier gathering  of key shipping professionals from across the region will be held – the Lloyd’s List North American Awards Dinner.
