Naming Ceremony for Seaspan’s New Ships at HHI Busan Yard, South Korea

On March 8, the visiting President of COSCO Group, Mr. Ma Zehua, and his wife Madam Zhou Yunli attended the naming ceremony of the new ships with hull numberS454 and 2180 at Busan Hyundai Heavy Insdustry.

Both of them are ordered by Seaspan Corporations, built by Hyundai Heavy Insutry and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industry respectively, and are chartered to COSCON. Madam Zhou named the ship with hull number S454 COSCO Faith, while Madam ZhongMingjiu, wife of Deputy Managing Director of COSCON Mr. Gao Ping, named another ship as COSCO Excellence.

Mr.Kyle Washington, Co-Chairman of SEASPAN,Mr. Gerry Wang, Co-Chairman and CEO of SEASPAN,Mr. J.S. Lee, President and CEO of Hyundai Heavy Industry, with over 50 guests participated the two ship-building projects.
