MacGregor names SVP for Global Lifecycle Support Division

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has informed that John Carnall (52) has been appointed Senior Vice President for the Global Lifecycle Support Division. 

“John Carnall will focus on developing our services and building a world-class service organisation to drive profitable growth. He is an ideal choice for this important position due to his long experience and proven track-record in developing successful and growing service business in several different global environments,” says Mika Vehviläinen, President and CEO, Cargotec.

Carnall joins MacGregor from Danfoss where he has held the position of Vice President, Parts and Services at Danfoss Power Solutions.

Before working at Danfoss, Carnall has held similar positions in Atlas Copco, where he gained experience also in the Oil and Gas segment. He will start at MacGregor in early 2015.

MacGregor has recently started a reorganization into seven operative Divisions which will become effective on January 1, 2015. One of these divisions is Global Lifecycle Support Division.
