U.S. weekly offshore rig count unchanged two weeks in a row

The number of offshore rigs in the U.S. has not changed for two weeks in a row now and is stuck at 18 units, according to a weekly rig count report by Baker Hughes.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. -62 to 602 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 62 rigs from last week to 602, with oil rigs down 58 to 504, gas rigs down 4 to 96, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 2.

U.S. Rig Count is down 420 rigs from last year’s count of 1,022, with oil rigs down 329, gas rigs down 93, and miscellaneous rigs up 2 to 2.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged at 18 and down 5 year-over-year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada -6 rigs to 35 rigs

Canada Rig Count is down 6 rigs from last week to 35, with oil rigs down 3 to 6 and gas rigs down 3 to 29.

Canada Rig Count is down 31 rigs from last year’s count of 66, with oil rigs down 12 and gas rigs down 19.
