As part of the contract awarded by Shell Offshore, DOF’s regional subsea team in North America is in charge of project management, engineering, intervention vessel, and all relevant surface and subsea services required to deliver chemical fluid into selected subsea wells.

Offshore work will start in the second quarter of the year, with combined vessel utilization between 75 and 120 days in the U.S. Gulf.

DOF said that the contract was valued between $25 million and $50 million.

“I am delighted to see how DOF is continuously expanding our portfolio of services and adding value to our clients and other stakeholders,” said Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF Group.

The Norwegian company announced in December 2025 the award of a multi-year contract in the North America region by Shell, with a value of between $15 million and $25 million. It covers the delivery of an integrated solution for IMR, including vessel and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), for Shell Trinidad and Tobago Limited.
