DOF wins ‘very large’ four-year contract

Norwegian vessel owner DOF Group has received a letter of award for a “very large”, four-year contract, described as worth between $100 million and $200 million.

DOF will deploy the 2009-built Skandi Hera for the contract expected to begin between late 2026 and early 2027, also covering remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services.

The award is subject to partner approval, anticipated to be lifted during the third quarter of this year 26.

In February this year, the Norwegian firm reported that it had begun preparing for an offshore project in Argentina, where Skandi Hera and the 2000-built Skandi Patagonia would be deployed for an expected combined duration of over 250 days.

The operations are spread across two campaigns, in Q2 and Q3-Q4 2026.
