Analox Sensor Technology Secures Pre-Launch Orders for ACG+
Analox Sensor Technology’s new compressed breathing air monitor has become the company’s most anticipated product launch, with over £100K of pre-launch orders already secured.
The new ACG+ is the gas analysis specialist’s most effective and versatile compressed breathing air monitor, designed to be used as a wall-mounted continuous monitor, or as a portable solution for checking compressed air purity.

Analox Sensor Technology (AST) launches the ACG+, its most advanced compressed breathing air monitor, on 1st May, 2014. The new product provides continuous or spot monitoring of compressed breathing air for oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), dew point (H2O) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). It also has a sample point to check for oil mist.
The ACG+ uses state-of-the-art, highly-accurate sensor technology, providing the alternative to the established spot testing with colorimetric tube test kits. The ACG+ sensors are easy to change, when required. The new product offers 90 days of data logging, with simple data retrieval via a USB connection. It incorporates audible and visual alarms, and via a common relay, can be programmed to shut down a compressor, or activate a beacon if an alarm is triggered.
The ACG+ detects when compressed breathing air is not of the highest quality, enabling the employer to comply with breathing air standards such as EN12021. Simon concluded: “Employers have a duty of care to their staff.
