Atlantica Wins West Africa Work for ‘Gamma’ Tender Barge

 Atlantica Tender Drilling Ltd., formerly BassDrill, has been awarded a contract for its tender barge “Gamma”, offshore Cote d’Ivoire.

The barge will work for Foxtrot international on the Marlin field development project on a five well contract. Estimated duration of the contract is approximately 400 days.

According to a press release issued by HitecVision, the contract will begin in the first quarter of 2015, upon the delivery of the barge in late 2014.

Construction of “Gamma” kicked off in China’s Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co. Ltd. and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co. Ltd. (together, DSIC), in November 2012.
