Australia: Steber Secures Contract to Supply Five General Purpose Navy Support Vessels

 

Steber International have been awarded a contract to supply 5 x 43’ General Purpose Navy Support Vessels. Negotiations have been intense extending over the past 12 months. This project will represent over 30,000 man hours in Regional & Rural NSW.

Construction will commence immediately, with the fifth vessel to be delivered in December 2012. Steber International delivered 10 similar vessels some 12 to 14 years ago, which are still performing well. Steber International again supports the Commonwealth of Australia, and this contract will in turn ensure continued apprenticeship intake.
