Belgium: Euronav Chooses STS Information Service Provider

Belgium - Euronav Chooses STS Information Service Provider

Euronav Ship Management has signed up to Dynamarine’s online ship-to-ship transfer information service (OSIS).

The company introduced a portal ONLINESTS.NET in January offering a dedicated information platform for assessing ship-to-ship (STS) transfer operations through OSIS. Participation in OSIS is voluntary and free of charge.

As Dynamarine explained, shipowners may obtain statistics with respect to participating vessel performance, STS service providers’ performance including POAC performance without adding further work load to their shore personnel.

Owners are able to view their own statistics for the relevant STS operations. All pieces of information are classified and confidential.

So far, over 150 vessels from 15 shipping companies worldwide have been using the database to maintain statistics and extract KPI’s for their fleet STS operations.

More than 184 management companies have recorded STS operations for their vessels, for 39 different charterers, 28 STS service providers, 293 participating vessels, at 40 STS locations with 171 separate POAC’s.

With 500 entries, OSIS keeps growing on a daily basis.

Dynamarine added that in the near future data will be made available to STS service providers and their respective POACs upon request.
