One of the UK’s leading marine contractors, Briggs Marine, has continued its expansion of specialist services by launching a new in-house commercial diving division.

Briggs Marine has appointed Alistair Blue as Dive Superintendent to head up the new division. Alistair, an ADC certified Air Diver, has a broad range of experience in the industry.

Alistair Blue says: “Briggs Diving Division offers our clients an invaluable and bespoke integrated solution. The move to bring diving in-house ensures our clients can be confident that safety, quality and environmental accreditations, synonymous with Briggs, are upheld throughout our projects.”

As Briggs own and operate over 40 vessels, they are able to rapidly deploy a holistic diving package, with the ability to undertake air diving services throughout the UK.

As with all commercial diving companies safety and quality is paramount, and Briggs are full members of the ADC, registered contractors with the UK Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and members of IMCA, they also hold accreditations for ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.

They offer safe, dependable solutions for the diving requirements of their client base, including; the renewable energy industry, harbour, port and waterway authorities, the oil and gas sector, salvage, insurance and construction markets.

Briggs Marine and Environmental Services supply services to a range of industries in the marine sector.
