China: Afai Southern Names New Management

Recently, according to the recommendations of two shareholders, the board of Afai Southern Shipyard made a resolution to appoint the new management leadership.

Wu Mingyi was appointed as General Manager, Qiu Shuquan was appointed as Vice General Manager, Yeqiang was appointed as Vice General Manager, Chen Hongyu was appointed as Finance Director and Liuyong was appointed as Vice General Manager. The tenure is from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2015.

Guided by the board’s strategy of creating a brand, the last management leadership of Afai Southern led the management team to forge ahead , constantly improving the management system, design technology, production workmanship, talent team etc, resolving complicated changes and severe test of the economic situation at home and abroad. Afai Southern has become the fore-runner in the industry of designing and building aluminum alloy ships in China.

The new management leadership expressed that Afai Southern will rely on the independent R&D and design platform, constantly promoting the content and strength of technology, accept anticipated opportunities, continue innovation and development, and, in the next three years, strive to rank among the top three of alumunium alloy vessel suppliers around the world.
