China: Afai’s Newbuildings Subjected to Inspection

In the morning of April 8, Mr. Ji Qiuzhi, the Deputy Party Secretary and the Head of Discipline Inspection Committee of Rescue & Salvage Bureau of Ministry of Transport, visited Afai Southern Shipyard (Panyu Guangzhou) Ltd. to inspect the work activities on coastal fast rescue vessels under construction.

Mr. Ji reviewed the “BEI HAI JIU 203”, which is in the phase of commission, along with workshops, quay and production sites, and was informed on the project promotion report.

Mr. Ji affirmed the work of the shipyard, supervisors and inspectors. He urged all sides to perform their work in accordance with  relevant  regulations, carry out the supervision work of the whole process of shipbuilding projects so as to ensure the quality of the products while in construction.
