Yuexin Ocean Delivers Second P&O CEIBO

On 11th, September, the 45M Azimuthal and River Pusher P&O CEIBO with 12 units 61m river barges built by Yuexin Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd for P&O Maritime Holdings Paraguay S.A. in Austrilia has been delivered successfully, which will service in Paraguay river.

Classed for unrestricted duty and built to ABS Class notation which includes “+A1 River Pusher Inland Service, +AMS and +ABCU ”, the vessel is measured in 45 m in length and a breadth moulded of 16m as well as a moulded draft of 3.2m. The speed reaches 12.84 knots while her pushing up to 61ton. With complement of 20 men, it can carry 733 m3 fuel oil, 148m3 diesel oil, 562 m3 ballast water and 89m3 fresh water. The vessel can push ten vessels weighing 2500 tons each at the same time.

Propulsion is provided by three Wartsila main engines with heavy and light oil switch, each rated 1600kw at 1000rpm, which are placed on the deck to save room and endow the vessel with better line shape. Three Thrustmaster CPP thrusters assist the vessel to rotate 360 degree. The Auxiliary Power comes from three Cummins generators each rated 260KW.

The vessel is the second 45M Azimuthal and River Pusher Yuexin build for P&O, of which the first one delivered in May with 12 units 61m river barges forming a fleet to serve in Paraguay River now.
