Yuexin Shipyard Lays Keel for 58.7 m AHTS Vessel YX3179

Recently the keel-laying ceremony of 58.7 m AHTS Vessel YX3179 was held at Yuexin shipyard. YX3179 is built under the survey of BV Class including the notations of CLASS 1 +Hull +MACH “Supply Vessel & Fire Fighting Ship Class 1” DPS1 unrestricted navigation.

Applying the design of KHIAM CHUAN MARINE, with designed bollard pull of 75 tons and speed of 13.5 knots, the vessel measures 58.7m in length, with a moulded breadth of 14.6m, and a moulded depth of 5.5m. The maximum draught is 4.5m. The vessel can carry 32 men, 475m3 of fuel oil, 460m3 drill water,230m3 of fresh water, 187m3 of dry bulk and 250m3 of mud.

Yuexin Ocean Engineering, established in the year 2000, is located in the south gate of China. The predecessor of the company was Guangzhou Panyu Tanzhou dockyard which boasted the history of more than 30 years in shipbuilding. Yuexin covers a total area about 100,000 square meters. The company is an enterprise of Class Three National Qualifications, Class A Design Qualification of the shipbuilding business in Guangdong Province. So far, Yuexin has delivered more than 60 vessels since it was founded. The company specializes in building series offshore work vessels from 4000 to 16000 horsepower, including DP2 Support/Maintenance Vessel, Multi-purpose Utility Vessels,Anchor Handling Tug/Supply Vessel,ASD Tug and etc.
