CIC Jiangsu Hands Over China Shipping’ Duo

China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (CICJS) yesterday held a naming and delivery ceremony for China Shipping (H.K.) Holdings’ Co., Ltd. remaining two 57,000 dwt bulk carriers.

The two newbuilds, named “SHOU CHEN SHAN” and “WU GUI SHAN”, come as the 7th and 8th vessel out of eight that were ordered back in 2007.

The vessels measure around 199.99m in length , 32.26m in breadth, 16.20m in depth and have designed draught of 10.70m. They are driven by MAN B&W 6S46MC7 engines capable of producing 6450kW of power.

The designed speed for the vessels is 13 knots.
