Director of Guangxi’s Science & Technology Department Visits Yuchai Heavy, China

On the afternoon of November 3rd, Xie Naitang, director of the Science & Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, headed a delegation to Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) for a survey on its technological work.

Deputy General Manager Zhang Yunquan and Chief Engineer Liang Xiaodong of YHI warmly received the delegation.

The delegation visited YHI’s metal working plant and assembly plant, being briefed by Zhang and Liang on product R & D and patent application.

Referring to patent application, Xie earnestly taught relevant staff the recipe for increasing the rate of application acceptance, hoping YHI would attach greater importance to patent application, which exactly shows the core competitiveness of an enterprise. Besides, Xie noted YHI should not reconcile itself to its current situation but should strive to be a world-famous enterprise.
