DOF wins two North Sea deals

DOF ASA, a Norwegian supply shipping company, has been awarded contracts for two vessels in the North Sea.

DOF’s subsidiary, DOF Rederi, signed the agreement with Nexan Petroleum UK for the platform supply vessel Skandi Marstein.

According to the shipping company, the contract with Nexen Petroluem will start in May and is firm until end 2017.

Skandi Marstein, of MT 6000 design, joined the DOF Fleet in 1996 and has been working on long term contract mainly in the North Sea.

DOF Rederi has further signed a three-months contract plus options with the oil company Maersk Oil North Sea UK for the 2011-built PSV Skandi Gamma.

The contract will start up in April. Skandi Gamma is an LNG-powered PSV with NMD Standby Notation & Oilrec/NOFO Capabilities.

The vessel has a Multi Application Cargo System (PG MACS) where tank capacities are dependent on configuration of tank modes and are maximized for each product (combined tanks).
