Dutch N-Sea Adds ROV Survey Support Vessel to Its Fleet

Business & Finance

Following successful Winter Diving and Spring Survey/IMR campaigns N-Sea expands their fleet and announces the inclusion of the ROV survey support vessel ‘Toisa Conqueror’.

The ‘Toisa Conqueror’ built (2001) by Appledore Shipbuilders in the UK, is a 74m DP2 vessel complimented by NSea’s modular Work & Inspection Class ROV based IMR and Diving spreads and is to be deployed on its first project at the end of July. This season the vessel will conduct diving and ROV based inspection operations for multiple major clients in both the oil and gas and renewable markets.

Market developments and needs from customers, as well as the current market position are strong drivers behind the decision to include the Toisa Conqueror. Gerard Keser, Managing Director states: “I believe the vessel will greatly enhance N-Sea’s capabilities and it will be complementary to the existing fleet to further develop our presence in this segment and offer possibilities to our customers with the latest technology. This addition is in line with N-Sea’s strategy to become the leading inspection specialist providing safe, sound and swift solutions to Survey and IRM markets”.

N-Sea is known for its strong, innovative and successful position as offshore subsea contractor in the North Sea, providing the following services to the oil and gas, renewable and subsea cable industries: Subsea Construction Support, Diving and ROV IMR, Survey and Positioning.
