EMGS Sells Barents Sea Data

Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has entered into data licensing agreements related to 3D CSEM multi-client data in the Barents Sea in Norway.

The agreements represent combined revenues of approximately USD 1.5 million.

The announcement follows previous sale of Barents data announced earlier this month.

According to the Oslo-listed EMGS, previous deals had a value of some USD 1.2 million.

The company did not disclose its clients in either of the announcements.

According to the company’s multi-client data library, EMGS in Norway covers nearly 50,000 square kilometers of 3D full azimuth multi-client data in the Barents Sea.
