Epic Gas Extends Charter Contract for Four LPG Carriers

Epic Gas Ltd. has extended existing inward bareboat charters and entered into new inward bareboat charters for two 7,200cbm newbuildings.

Epic Gas Extends Charter Contract for Four LPG Carriers

The extended charter contracts are for the following vessels:

  • Cobrador, a 3,500cbm pressurised LPG carrier built at Kanrei in Japan in 2009, has been extended until 2022
  • Cordova, a 3,500cbm pressurised LPG carrier built at Kanrei in Japan in 2009, has been extended until 2022
  • Miyake, a 4,100cbm pressurised LPG carrier built at Higaki in Japan in 2001, has been extended until 2018
  • Arran, a 4,100cbm pressurised LPG carrier built at Watanabe in Japan in 2000, has been extended until 2018

Additionally, the company has entered into new inward bareboat charter contracts for two newbuildings:

  • The first 7,200cbm pressurised LPG carrier, to be named Epic Bell, to be delivered March 2014 from Kyokuyo in Japan, has been chartered in until 2022
  • The second 7,200cbm pressurised LPG carrier, to be named Epic Bird, to be delivered June 2014 from Kyokuyo in Japan, has been chartered in until 2022

All six inward bareboat charters feature purchase options and fixed monthly charter rates throughout the term of the contract.
