Epic Takes Another

Singapore-based owner and operator of gas carriers Epic Gas has taken delivery of another 5,000cbm carrier, Epic St. Ivan, from Kitanihon Shipbuilding of Japan.

With the delivery of the Epic St. Ivan, the company’s fleet of pressurised LPG carriers consists of 37 vessels on the water with an average size and age of 5,608cbm and 8 years, respectively.

The company has three more 7,500cbm vessels and four 11,000cbm vessels under construction, plus an additional 11,000cbm newbuilding to be delivered under a bareboat charter.

Back in February, Epic gas took delivery of Epic St. Ivan’s sister ship, the 5,000 cbm Epic St. Agnes, built at the same shipyard.
