France’s GTT said it had received an order from a South Korean shipyard for the design of liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanks.

The tanks will be installed onboard a new LNG carrier and a floatingĀ storage and regasification unit (FSRU).

These vessels will be built on behalf of a European shipowner with delivery scheduled for the first half of 2020, according to a GTT statement.

GTT will design the LNG tanks of both units, each having a capacity of 173,400 cbm. The insulation solutions retained are NO96 GW for the LNGC and NO96 for the FSRU.

GTT did not reveal any additional information.
