Ghana: CHEC Bags Takoradi Port Deal
On August 31st, China Harbour officially signed Commercial Contract for Takoradi Port Infrastructure Development Project with Ghana Port Authority.
The value of contract was around US 150 million dollars, with the construction duration of 36 months. The project mainly included demolition & reconstruction of facilities including old office buildings in the port, expansion reconstruction of roads entering port, land reclamation, storage yard handling and assorted water and electricity facilities, etc.
The implementation of the project would not only further consolidate the market status of CHEC in Ghana, but also play a positive role in promoting the infrastructure construction of Ghana in an overall manner.
