GTT: LNG Cargo Operations Course to Be Held in Paris

GTT announced that registration is now open for the first training course to be run at the company’s new training center which will take place on June 23, 2014. 

The course will be a LNG Cargo Operations Course for ships officers and will take place at its facilities in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, near Paris.

The course, based on the SIGTTO Suggested Competency Standards for Ships Officers, is open for up to six students and will be approved accordingly by DNV GL.

Lasting for five days, students will experience a blend of cargo operations, (using a new LNG Operations Simulator), lectures, guided self-study and assessment throughout the course and upon successful completion will receive a DNV GL (SIGTTO) endorsed certificate.
