Another ship gets stuck in area harbor

Muskegon’s harbor is getting harder and harder to navigate into, but one freighter will try again today after getting stuck Tuesday night.
The 620-foot Manistee hit bottom outside the Muskegon pierheads at about 10:45 p.m., becoming the fourth cargo ship to do so since the 1,000-foot Indiana Harbor became mired at the same spot for four hours last Aug. 22. It took almost three hours to wriggle off the bottom.
