Northrop Grumman president says he’ll retire at end of year

The president of Northrop Grumman Ship Systems will give up his post as the head of Mississippi’s largest private employer, company officials say. Philip Dur, who was Ship Systems president since 2001, will retire at the end of the year. Northrop’s board of directors in Los Angeles elected Philip A. Teel to replace Dur on July 1, company officials said Friday.
