ISOICO Secures Major Shipbuilding Order

Iran Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Complex Co. (ISOICO), an Iranian shipyard active in shipbuilding and ship repairs of different types of vessels and offshore structures, has won an order to construct six container ships and fifteen bulk carriers IRISL.

An official of IRISL (Islamic Republic of Iran shipping Line) said, in a press conference that the IRISL had placed an order with ISOICO for building six container ships and fifteen bulk carriers.

Aside of that, IRISL has also set up a ship repair company that managed to carry out deployment of the second ISOICO-built container ship’s equipment without any need to resort for assistance to foreign companies. The vessel was delivered last week to IRISL.
