Western Baltija Hands Over MPSV 'Eva'

Western Baltija Shipbuilding has delivered multipurpose vessel “EVA“ to the client “EVA Maritime OÜ”. The multipurpose vessel “EVA” is the first vessel of this type built by Western Baltija Shipbuilding.

Ship length – 89,9 m, breadth – 14,5 m, draft – 5,63 m, speed – 11,4 knots, deadweight – 4600 t. Vessel is equipped with a 300 kW side thrusters, also 1600k Wartsila 8L20 and two diesel generators, each of 248 kW power. Two cargo holds of 2875 m3 were mounted on the ship.

The concept of multipurpose ships has been created and the design work was carried out by another Western Shipyard subsidiary company – Western Baltic Engineering. Construction of the vessel was carried out under the supervision of the Classification society Lloyd’s Register.

According to the signed contract with a client, Western Baltija Shipbuilding had to build two vessels. The second vessel “ANETTA” is still under construction.
