Malaysia - Bumi Armada Wins Charter Contract from Petrobras

Malaysia-based international offshore oil field services provider, Bumi Armada Berhad, announced that its subsidiary, Bumi Armada Navigation Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a four year charter and operations contract by Brazilian oil and gas major, Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (PETROBRAS) for its Anchor Handling Towing Support (AHTS) vessel Armada Tuah 102.

The 72m AHTS vessel was built in 2009 by Nam Cheong Dockyard Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Nam Cheong Limited – Singapore Exchange Main Board-listed Malaysian-based leading global Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) shipbuilder. Flying the colors of Malaysia, the maximum permissible deadweight of the ABS class vessel is 3.147.
