Solstad Maritime signed a LoI with an international subsea contractor for Normand Navigator, with the contract to start in the second quarter of the year and run for 450 days, including options for extension.

The 142.6-meter-long vessel will support operations worldwide and will be equipped with two work-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), delivered and manned by Solstad Maritime with support from Omega Subsea, including tooling and survey services.

Normand Navigator previously worked in Brazil.

Furthermore, Solstad Offshore (SOFF) signed a LoI with an undisclosed client for Normand Tonjer for operations in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).

The contract has a duration of 225 days, including mobilization, with further options thereafter, and will start this month. According to the company, the commercial terms and conditions are confidential.
