New gig in Norway for Solstad vessel
Norwegian oil and gas company Aker BP has picked a platform supply vessel (PSV) from a compatriot vessel owner, Solstad Offshore, for support operations offshore Norway.
Solstad reported on Wednesday that Aker BP has chartered the PSV Normand Arctic for activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, explaining that this deal is a part of the existing Frame Agreement between the two companies.
To remind, Aker BP entered into a three-year frame agreement in March 2019 with Solstad Offshore, Simon Møkster Shipping, and Eidesvik Offshore for the supply of PSVs.
The latest contract for this vessel – with a firm duration of 15 months – is scheduled to start during the fourth quarter of 2022.
