Newbuild PSV Edda Ferd Wins Prestigious Environmental Award

Ostensjø Rederi was, at the annual Offshores Support Journal Awards 2013, awarded with the prestigious Environmental Award for its newbuild Platform Supply Vessel Edda Ferd.

PSV “EDDA FERD” (Construction C444) was launched, on Oct. 17th, at Gondan shipyard, Figueras facility (Castropol).

This PSV is designed by the Norwegian company SKIPSTEKNISK, with the length of 92,60 m, breadth of 20,6 m the vessel can accommodate crew of 40 and has the deck area of 1.000 m2.

Edda Ferd, which will be delivered in October 2013, is part of the company’s new concept Mindset.
