Norway: NPD Announces Tenders for 2D Seismic Data Acquisition

During 2012 the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) is planning to acquire 2D seismic data from the Norwegian Continental Shelf  North of 64 degrees North.

The scope of the mapping is planned to be 10,000-19,000 line kilometres.

Due to a tight timescale preference will be given to tenderers who can tender for seismic processing on board the vessel or rapid processing onshore.

Suppliers must point out, in their tender, whether they offer to operate 2D vessels in parallell.

However, this will not have any direct impact on the evaluation. The NPD is free to choose one or two vessels in parallell, as well as one or two suppliers.

Tender deadline is 25.11.2011.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) is a governmental specialist directorate and administrative body.

It was established in 1972. NPD is headquartered in Stavanger and has an office in Harstad, and has a staff of a little over 200.
