Ocean Installer Moves into New Headquarters in Stavanger, Norway

The Norwegian subsea entrepreneur Ocean Installer is moving into new headquarters in Stavanger to accommodate for the strong growth the company has experienced over the last year.

“This expansion of our Stavanger base shows that we are developing in line with our long-term growth strategy. We are very pleased, as this proves that we have been successful with regards to recruitment and that people wish to play a part in the further development of our company”, says Steinar Riise, CEO of Ocean Installer.

Ocean Installer move into the new premises, located in the office park Park2020, on October 8th. Park2020 is located in the Forus area of Stavanger, the main energy and industry cluster of Norway. Today, about 100 persons are based in Ocean Installer’s Stavanger office, whilst the new headquarters has capacity for 170 persons. Moreover, there is room for further growth as the office park is continuously expanding.

“One of the reasons for moving the Ocean Installer headquarters to here is that we can secure additional space in the future. As we are experiencing rapid development it is important to have the possibility for further expansion. Moreover, being part of the industry cluster at Forus will allow us to take part in the synergies of this area”, says Riise.

Since its establishment in January 2011, Ocean Installer has experienced significant growth. Today, Ocean Installer has a backlog of about 160 million USD, about 140 employees, and a growing fleet of subsea construction vessels. In addition to the headquarters in Stavanger, Ocean Installer has offices in Aberdeen, Scotland and is in the process of establishing presence in Houston, Texas.
