Houston-based subsea services provider Oceaneering International has appointed Stephen Barrett as the Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Oceaneering said on Tuesday that Barrett’s new role would see him take charge of the company’s global business development efforts.

Roderick Larson, President of Oceaneering, said: “Steve’s extensive industry knowledge and perspective makes him ideal for this role. I am confident that with his leadership we will further expand our service and product solutions to meet our customers’ offshore life of field challenges.”

The subsea provider noted that Barrett has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He joined Oceaneering in 2015 as the Senior Vice President for Subsea Products.
