OCEANERA-NET to discuss new R&D joint call at ICOE 2016

The OCEANERA-NET project will offer the latest information about the upcoming second joint call for collaborative research in ocean energy at a side event during the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE) 2016.

The aim of the OCEANERA-NET joint call 2016, set to be launched early in 2016, is to promote the development and competitiveness of the ocean energy sector by supporting projects involving research, technology, development and innovation (RTDI) activities, and developing, demonstrating or validating new and innovative technologies of ocean energies.

The call provides an opportunity for companies and research organisations from a number of countries to work together, with funding provided by national/regional funding organisations.

OCEANERA-NET will be at the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE) 2016 where it will offer updates on the projects funded under the first joint call launched in 2014, and give information about the upcoming funding call and the application process.

The attendees will also get a chance to present their project ideas for the joint call 2016, as well as to participate in the networking and matchmaking activities.

The event will take place on February 25, 2016 at Edinburgh International Conference Center (EICC).
